Sweet Dream Eavan

Eavie is a very nice, very feminine looking cow with a “dairy-type” build.  And she is such a talker!  Both her grandsires are excellent bulls and it shows…she and Rousseua are producing very nicely made, super-sweet claves.  She’s gentle & halter broke, and comes eagerly into the parlor for breakfast when I call her.   Eavie is proving to be a wonderful Momma, and is doing very well with milking – by hand or machine, though my slow hand-milking tries her patience.

We think Eavie was a great addition to our herd as a foundation cow.  Her daughter Tulip is being retained as a replacement, and we anticipate some excellent calves in this line.

11/18/12  SOLD!  Eavie has gone to her new home with the Karnes family in West Virginia.
