Euchee Creek’s Red Lamont

This is a wide, stocky boy, who came along with his momma when we bought her.  Monty has excellent bloodlines behind him, and is growing into a fine looking young bull. Being born in January of a hard winter, the tips of his little ears & tail got bitten off by Jack Frost, giving him an endearing appearance.  He is a gorgeous dark red color with a black face, very similar to his sire.

Monty is thick bodied, with a straight topline and great legs & feet.  He has a gentle temperament & is easy to manage.  His dam has a very nice udder, and his sire has great udder & milk production genetics behind him.

Monty successfully bred his first two cows for us fall of 2014, and his first calves are looking great.

6/13/15  SOLD!  Monty has gone to his new home with the Collett Family, joining Mrald Trix Upr Sleeve, whom they bought from us last year.

Yes, the photos below are all the same bull!  The first one shows Monty’s dark summer coat from summer 2014, while in the second, taken spring of 2015, he is still wearing his paler winter coat.  The last photo is from fall 2016 as a coming 3yo, taken when we went to pick up his daughter out of Trixie, Dixie Rose.  He is maturing well, muscling up nicely, and quite impressive looking.  We’re very happy to add this boy’s genetics to our breeding program!
