Moona (First-calf Heifer)
Mizzie has produced a gorgeous little girl, by the light of a full moon. She’s nicely put together, a little shy, but sweet. I’m quite happy to see another lovely heifer by Cecil.
Moona is maturing very nicely, a thick bodied girl who reminds me a lot of her granddam Luna.
Moona has had her first calf and has settled nicely into the role of milk cow. She has a nice udder & good production for a first freshener, at approximately 2-2 1/2 gallons a day including what the calf is taking. Sweet milk with a lovely cream line!
1/14/21 SOLD! Moona has gone to her new home near Louisville, KY to serve as a family milk cow.
