RdoubleD Late Entry

Yes, this pretty, little girl made a late entry…born a full week after her due date, so L.E. (Ellie) she is.  She was worth the wait though!  With her sire, Direct Deposit, being a Saturn’s Galaxy son out of a Bedford Romarc Rambler daughter, I am super excited to add her genetics to my herd.

Ellie has matured into a beautiful, thick-bodied, feminine cow and is a wonderful momma. She settled right into milking & I’m very happy with her production & udder structure. She’s a classic little milk cow, with lovely, sweet, creamy milk.

I really hate to see Ellie go, as she has been my dependable “go-to” milker through the fall/winter seasons. Unfortunately, I must decrease my herd size at this point, and I do have her genetics to keep in my herd through her descendants. She will be bred back to Bricker and available to go to a new home in May 2025 once Abby is weaned. This is a great opportunity for somebody to add some really cool traditional bloodlines to their herd!
