High Pines Charlie

Cha-Cha (First-Calf Heifer)

I was delighted to be able to bring this girl home from the AGM sale last year.  Charlie is a stout, structurally correct girl with excellent milk production lines behind her.  She has a sweet, but very skittish, disposition, and doesn’t like to be handled much.

Cha-Cha has had her first calf, and took right to mothering so calmly you would think she’s done it before.  She has a lovely udder, with an excellent rear attachment.

Unfortunately, I desperately have to downsize my herd, and Cha-Cha is having a hard time keeping condition on the pasture I have here, so she is available to go to a new home.  She needs a bit more TLC than I can offer with my set-up.

The udder photo below was taken the day she calved.
